This is a pretty nice work sir. I would suggest to decrease the blur a little and add some "atmosphere", you know, that little fog in the background, otherwise the image looks a little like a macro shot.
Despite that, the image looks well done, you put some sweat and patience while working on this. Good Work!

hehe, yes, I am working through David Wards tutorial also... how fantastic is it!
I'm trying to convert the materials to cycles myself however, and achieve similar results... we will see how i go soon enough
